ANNA JOHNSON
Born in London and raised in Sydney and New York, Anna Johnson has been writing and drawing for twenty-five years. Freelance to the bone, Anna has worked as a waitress, shop-girl, market stall owner, handbag designer, art critic, fashion journalist, TV presenter, travel writer, copywriter, and author. Anna has written for Vogue, Conde Nast Traveler, Vanity Fair, The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph and is a regular contributor to InStyle. The Mummy Manifesto is Anna’s third book. Her first, “Three Black Skirts: All you need to survive”, and her second “Handbags: The Power of the Purse”, were bestsellers that have been translated into over 15 foreign languages. Anna lives in Brooklyn with her husband, three year old son, five vintage teapots, one pair of Wellington boots, and not a single pet.
