HOW TO USE THIS SITE
Welcome to YMM online. The site works a lot like a magazine. The usual masthead stuff (about me, where to buy, about the book) is in the banner at the top of the page. And the latest juicy, sink your teeth in and get inspired stuff is under the laundry line to the right. Unlike conventional blogs I am not doing a weekly diary but writing mini-articles instead that are useful and inspiring. Less domestic detail more big fat broad strokes and ideas. And recipes. The themes of each month’s edition will shift as my obsessions shift. At the moment I am fixing up my house room by room, cupboard by cupboard so craft, decor, DIY glamour and budget renovation are on my mind. The links I’ve listed are the links I am using now almost daily. When I want to check in my parenting/home-making/toddler health and political rights I tend to go to Mothering magazine online but the rest of the time I’m dreaming about vintage wallpaper and rooms without toys.
